Refinishing rims color ideas...

Dealer is paying to refinish my rims, due to careless tire mounting. I'd like to take this opportunity to have them refinished in a different color. Do either of these two look appealing you ya'll? I'm a little more fond of the dark gray, but gold isn't out of the question either. I'm open for suggestions for other colors, too.

I was thinking about doing the same thing..except black on my silver. I think the grey looks better on yours.

If your planning on doing the MS body kit in the future, the grey would be nice. If not, I would suggest going with the gold.

I was planning on doing this to my stock rims this summer as well...was leaning towards a dark silver/gunmetal type color. My 8 is black also, by the way.

Hmmm...now that I think about it white might be cool too. Never been a big fan of the gold. If anybody can photoshop one of those photos to have white wheels it would be much appreciated.

Done. Wasn't enough damage for Wheel Masters and the dealership to justify refinishing the entire wheel. Instead they sanded down the outter bead area, painted, and cleared each wheel. Oh well. They did a great job at it, so at least I'm back to where I started. Maybe I'll persue powdercoating inteh near future. Time'll tell. Still happy.

Me too. Not quite as "happy" now as I seemed earlier. May have to resolve this sooner than later.

This is how it came out (more or less, since I haven't taken recent pics):

The green is so muuch better from that second picture. The side on shot pics up all the highlights of the paint. Pictures rarely do justice to the Nordic or to the Shinka.

Hey man, sorry to hear about your rims, mine have a couple of spots on em from my tire mount, I didn't really care because at the time I was planning on a new set of rims anyways, but now.... things have changed.
