Rear Tires

I have stock rims with stock height and right now having new front tires 245/45 , I need new rear tires and I would like to find out what the biggest tire I can go with? I want to have beefy wide tires I think it looks really cool but also I dont want to lose grip and decrease handling. I'm running stock wheels now but I'm thinking to upgrade to aftermarket some day soon and it will be mostly 9.5 wide rim...So what rear tires size should I go with?

I would think 245 would be about as wide as you'd want to go on the rear too. I'm running 225 on some kazera wheels and in hindsight should've gone 245.

245 or 255/40x18 will keep your speedometer close to being correct, depending on the tire manufacturer. Some autocrossers use 275 width tires. I would think that wouldn't be optimal for grip however.
