Really Wide 17's.

I think they're technically called "steamrollers" Ha. Ha.

Wheels: 17x9 +45 Enkei RPF1
Tires: Firestone Firehawk Wide Oval
Front: 275/40ZR17
Rear: 285/40ZR17

No rubbing at all up front, no rubbing at all in the rear with mildly (read: not flat) rolled fenders and stockish (-2.0) camber.

Working for a tire company (Bridgestone) does have its benefits haha.

And the wheels are super played out. I just like that they're such featherweights.

285's are certainly fatty's. I wish our little n/a renny motors could handle wide tires, I'd love to do something in the 300 range all around.

BTW - that paint color looks AMAZING. Ugh, shinka<3

What do you mean?

Racing Beat Header
3" Resonated mid-pipe
Turbo-XS Catback with an extra 10" resonator welded in

That's not considered an exhaust?

I don't bother to polish it up, it gets covered in carbon within a few days anyway. Stock stupid-rich tuning ftw.

Yeah, the approved rim width is 9.5-11 but they sit perfectly square on a 9" so I decided to do it. Plus these tires don't run super wide like some other tires (Direzza Z1, Advan Neova et. al.) so they work fine.

happen to have any pics from the side? I'd like to see what 17s look like on the car - I'm thinking of going w/ 17s for the track for cheaper tires and lighter weight

that picture should be the "anti-stretched tires" mascot lol.

not only does that look like it means business it also protects your wheels from curb rash, which on a daily driver.. makes sense.

nice setup, would like to see some side pics too

Don't get me wrong, I love stretched tires and agressive offsets (wait till my next set of wheels, everyone will ) I just wanted to run something super functional for my track setup. Knowing how to drive and park well protects your wheels from curb rash, not a fat rim protector.

Here are a couple more pics I snapped. I'll get a better side-shot if I have time today. It was too cold this morning to want to go anywhere haha (oh noez! 40* is sooooo freezing!)

If I were to do it again I'd probably run a 9.5 +40 wheel, there's still just so much clearance.
