most race/road bicycles are powder coated, Lance's crazy 10k+ carbon/etc road bicycles that he won the tours on had powder coated components, I seriously doubt it weighs much of anything, now plating on the other hand, that might add some weight (ex: chrome) but powder coating is pretty much a non-factor. And deedub should show the thread where that pic came from, it only looks that low because he had it parked funky on a driveway...or something....cheater

They said it will fit, but center bore size will needed to be widened. They have 18x8.5 in the front with a +40 and a 18x9.5 +40 in the rear.

so i got a message back from gruppe-s about the 57F's. i was considering getting a set from them but they are saying that the offsets are far too agressive and won't fit. they are running 18x8.5 at +45 offset. are they right about this not working for us?

The guy I pmed at gruppe-s said they have 18x8.5 +40 and 18x9.5 +40. That it will work if the bores are widened , but "it will be slightly tucked in and the size in the back is slightly smaller. "

funny, the guy i spoke to and got an email from didn't even mention the bore size. i even emailed him ours and asked if that was going to be an issue. the only issue he gave me was the offset. PM me with his name and let's see if this is the same guy or if none of them know what the correct answer is. you would think they would be more on top of it as i would love to put some cash down for some 57F's - whether they be the Time Attacks, bronze, or the silvers they have on sale.
