Rays G-Games RX-8
Rays G-Games RX-8
Was researching wheels and ran into this.
BigOLundh actually inspired me with his 99B. Rays only offer these wheels through Discount tire direct (at least for the US market), however they didn't have it up on their site.

I'm pretty sure they're running a really low offest on those wheels with that wide body kit... and thats whats causing the camber. Interesting they didnt fix the camber before taking pics.
Nonetheless, nice find RA-Eight... glad you like the wheels.
Oh and yeah, they are only distributed in the US by discount tire at the time, which made negotiating the price alot harder, but in the end I think i still got a fair deal.

That extreme camber in the rear is the consequence of lowering the car to the bottom travel of the rear suspension.
You can only dial-out about 1.5° of negative camber with the OEM adjustment bolts. Once your total camber gets past 3°, you are way past what can be adjusted to within tolerance of the proper 1.5°.

I almost had a set of these off ebay a while back, they were from the discount tire direct auctions, they ballooned right at the last minute so I held off but if you're looking for them cheap keep an eye out on there.
Thanks Canary. I actually knew about DTDirect on eBay because that's who I got my winter wheel/tire combo from. Have them as a favorite seller. I was hoping we'd stay low key about them to keep the bidding war down to a minimum. ;-)
Are the 99B:
the same as the Baracuda (as named on Discount tire direct's website):
Very similar, but not entirely the same. Notice "G-Games" stamped on one of the spokes on the 99B.

The ones i got were from discount tire (store) and had the G-Games stamped on the wheel. I think the pic they have on the discount tire site is not the actual production model of the rim. The pic on the rayswheels or ggames site is acurate.
