Racing Hart C4 Fitment

This is my first post on this board. I will be getting a new 8 in about a month in sunlight silver with appearance and I plan on doing a wheel and tire combo with suspension right away. I need a few opinions on what to do. I am looking at going with Racing Hart C4 19" multipiece wheels. I will also be installing Tein Flex coilovers at the same time. What would be the biggest possible setup I could run? What rim and tire size front and rear do you guys recommend? I want the car to sit nice and snug with the suspension without any rubbing issues and I don't want the tires to come past the fender. I appreciate all the input that any of you may have. Attached is a quick photoshoped image on what I am going for!!

Thanks,

SleekRX8

Like I said it was a quick Photoshop image that I put together which excluded the tires. I just wanted to get an idea of what the wheels would look like against the car. Any suggestions on fitment sizes in 19" form. Please post!!!

I agree, I think they look good, it's just that your scale is off - they look like 22 inch wheels or something. Properly scaled, they will probably look fine.

Just make sure you aren't bolting a set of boat anchors to your car (I think the RH's are pretty light, though)

I would install 8x19 with 225/40/19. I think more than this tire will decrease performances. I'm planning to buy Racing Hart CX or CR, i'm doubting

mikeb: I think 245 for a 8" is too much tire, isn't it??? You have more tire than rim....

I think the Rx8 can handle the Supra fitment just use a smaller tire in the rear. I have seen a 19x85/19x95 with a 265 tire on the rear this is the picture the I was sent to show the wheel and tire fitment.

yes..

you can also fit a 20" rim with 275 tire.. but why so much tire/wheel?? this will decrease performances and steering

I agree. Just because you "can" do it, doesn't mean that you "should".

I also have 19x8.0 rims on 245/35/19 tires.

This combo gives you the same size as the stock, which means no speedo adjustments are needed.

i think some get a misunderstanding on what the rims look like. the rims look like he put them with something like the tire rack option. they will look alot diff. once installed. they like that now because its a rough sketch just for an idea. i think they will look like the porsch rims just on an 8. i say go with the rims they will look very good
