Is there a warranty on there products? What does RB have to say about it? It looks like it rusted at that point, maybe a faulty piece. I still enjoy the beat and praise any shop for doing that much work with the rotary

Has installing it upside down been ruled out?

That was my thought. It is a rear bar.

not sure....he brought it to the meet last night.....now for the uneducated folk what difference would it have made structurally if it was upside down or not?.....because if it was then this could show as a lesson on why orientation is important

the torque on the bar is happening in a way it was not designed to meet.

If you search google you can see some pretty nasty pics of incorrectly installed swaybars. Endlinks bent in half, stuff snapped.

Thats what I would wager happened here.

My RB endlink did snap. But that's because the shop installed it incorrectly.

it looks like it's been pinched at the breaking point. there should be not reason that enough load is being put on that bar to snap it like that. i have to agree that it's either a bad product or not properly installed. hey, nobody is perfect.
