Question on wheels

(Disclaimer shared among all of my posts tonight) - I apologize ahead of time for seeming so needy and having multiple threads in multiple sections simultaneously. I also apologize if I seem to make no sense, I just picked up my new RX-8 from VA and drove it back to TX, I've only had an hour of sleep so bear with me.

Hello again. This time my question is about the wheels that came on the car. Can anyone identify what model wheels these are, as in the cost of them? I think I will be offering them up for sale. They're in good shape, just normal road wear and tear. Honestly 20'' seems way too blingy for me, I would prefer some 18'' blacked out ones or something. It hardly looks like there's any tire to grip the road with and it seems to ride too low for my liking.

I will continue reading up on the wheel fitment in the meantime. And I apologize ahead of time for the probably obvious question but to verify: the tires that are on right now will not work with 18" rims correct? Not only is this my first 8 but it's also my first car that's actually mine, never had to do much maintenance on the parents' rides...

Thanks again!

You don't need to make all these threads. Apologizing about it before hand doesn't stop the fact that you're causing useless clutter on these forums. Use 1 thread.

I don't know the make/model of those. No, those 20" tires will not fit 18" tires. That's just simple math

Sorry, I was trying to keep the subjects in their respective categories. I did what you suggested once on a bike forum and the mods were on me like white on rice.

Thanks for the answer though, that was pretty much the core of what I needed. If I'm selling off parts to purchase new ones I just want to make sure I know what I'm selling.

P.S. I have yet to pass a math class since Geometry, 10th grade (with a D).

I literally just got the car back to base an hour or so ago. The pieces I want to swap out I'll be sure to get a post up in the near future! They'll go with the tires as well which seem to still be in pretty damn good shape, I just think I would prefer something smaller. First things first though I need to decide the price on getting the front bumper fixed on the mazdaspeed set, otherwise I'll probably sell off the rest of that as well. The guy who commented on that thread said it looked like a legit set.

I'll see if I can find a shop tomorrow to give me a repair quote and then go from there, if you're still interested let me know.

Sick brembo brakes.

You should be able to trade those wheels to somebody that want them for something you would want.

That's a good point...I may check in to that as well.

And thanks! They've already come in handy. Stops on a dime.

Since nobody else answered your question correctly.. wheels are Enkei GTC01. They are fairly expensive, high quality wheels. New in that size they run ~ $400 per wheel

Yeah. The wheels aren't exactly a brain teaser. Lol. It says Enkei GTC01 right on the wheels. Lol.

You bought the Mazdaspeed 8 from VA?

- Cars.com

Had aftermarket seats, a bunch of speakers and added weight in the trunk, 20" wheels and authentic mazdaspeed kit right?
