Question on lowering springs

I'm sure theres a thread on this already, but i couldnt find it.
What are some sturdy, good rep, cheap lowering springs, i dont want any crazy drop, just like 1 -1.5 in drop. Do you install them just like you would the stock springs? If so i know how to because i installed the koni shocks on my car.

If you could, please include a website and price.

Thanks brothers

Look at all that nice stuff you have on your car. Why would you want cheap springs? The drop you describe, it sounds like you want Tein S. Techs or Eibach.

In reality, they aren't that expensive either...shop around and you can find the S. Tech's for less than $200, you just have to make sure they are legit.

Not cheap as in cheaply made, cheap as in price. I know there are thousands of websites that all offer the same item, some cheaper than others, just wondering if anyone dug deep into the internet and found some good springs at a low price, so i dont have to. Lol.

Will these work with the stock shocks on the front? I have stocks on the front, and koni on the rear, might end up getting the rear konis tho before i get the springs.

Inexpensive is the word you are looking for...

As others have mentioned, Tein S-Tech is what you are looking for. Check out the springs thread for lots of pics and specs.

So far ive gotten RSR and Tien S-tech.
Ive heard alot about Tien, mostly good, one of my buddies has a 350z with Tiens on it.
Never heard of RSR, are they pretty strong? Stiff?

HA!! thanks guys! noobie, i absolutely love my drop, i get quite a few comments on how good the drop is, the springs themselves are top notch, and they are quite stiff, a LOT less body roll over stock

Hey OP - if/when you get the rsr's can you post some pics & impressions with your Koni's. I have Koni's too and am looking for a bit stiffer spring rate.

Dozer, what kind of ride do you get with the rsr's? I dont want to lose my comfort level on a long trip? Also how much of a drop did you have after they settled?. I'm thinking about me new nose.....

hmmmmm, well i have 4-5 inches clearance with the VL nose. I didn't have an airdam or anything before. I've not had any problems so far scraping on anything.

Dozer, you think s-techs would be better?

Not worried about body roll. I dont really hit the twisties as hard core as I once did, but I still want the versatility. The ride quality is what I'm wanting to preserve. Thanks Dozer, and dayum I love your ride! Pure ssweetness!
