Question about rims...

Today while washing my car I realized something about my rims.... you know the little square, metallic pieces that are on each rim? Well on one of my wheels all are totally gone, and two others it looks like those things are'nt hanging on by much. Im guessing that these are counter weights for the TPMS? My question is that is this a big enough problem for me to mention to the dealer? Also why the hell are they coming off so easy? Any comments would be nice.

Thanks,

if you are talking about the metal pieces put on the outer edge of your rim then hell yes they are important! Those puppies are put on the rim balance out the wheel while it is rotating. If those come off then your tires are no longer balanced and your tires will start to suffer. I would definetly get those checked out ASAP!
