question

how is it that i put on rims that had tires that were 275/45/19 in the back and it looked like it was gonna totally rub...and tonz of ppl are putthing simiilar stats on and wont rub..my rims were 19x9.5 offset 33 in the back

I recall one guy that had 275's in the back and he said they would rub when passengers sat in the back.

Came across these links, try to PM some of these guys, they should have an answer for you.

I noticed you went with "45" height tire, that probably has a lot to do with your problem, a shorter profile on a 19" tire is needed to keep the original circumference.

i had 275/30 profile tyres on the back for my 19's and it didnt rub at all.

with 45 profile 19" tyres you have just increase the overall diameter by 1.4" over the factory 18" with 225/45 tyres
