First off, the rims look sweeet. Have any pics anywhere yet?
On or near the subject. I need some advice fellows. I'm looking to get new rims and or tires. I have looked at a few threads and seen various opinions. I'd like to ask a few questions:
Are the stock 18's, 8" or 8.5"? ( I have seen both sizes mentioned )
Based on the oem rim width, what is the best/widest fit for the stock rims? (235, 245, 255)
I have also seen the weight for the stock as 22.5 lbs. Anyone agree? Does this include the lugs? How much do the OEM lugs weigh by themselves?
What aftermarket rims would you suggest for lightweight and reasonable cost?
What tires for lateral and forward traction?
I know this has been covered here and there, but I'm looking for some fresh opinions to spend some fresh Christmas Cash!! Any help appreciated.

They actually come in a gun metal color which looks almost black. I prefered to keep the brushed silver look. Just my personal preferences, but i think both would look great.

I suggest you go for it. This way i'd still be the only blue 8 (or any 8 i think) with these. LOL!

I'd say just make your own thread with that post

and also state if your looking for 18 or 19 inch aftermarket rims.

Looks very good, can't wait to see it on your car. Do you think it's possible to weigh them?

Did you know they come in a two different face versions, like Rays Volk GT-Cs? Face 2 is more concave...I wonder if you can run it staggered like the GT-Cs, Face 1 up front and 2 in the rear.

I am so pissed at myself for not taking a scale with me to the place that i bought/installed them from. Whenver i get the tires unmounted for rotation... i'll weigh the wheels. (6 more months). Sorry.

I am not sure if they come in 2 faces... but they may. Check www.rayswheels.co.jp, all the info should be on there

I'm sorry, you misunderstood me. I'm stating that they DO come in 2 different faces, just wondering if you considered this when you bought them. They show the two different faces on the website.

I'll post full pics later once the kit is on. Should be in a few weeks.

fat lip is just a trend anyway, we'll see what's up 4-5 years down the road with all these dudes running deep *** dish with 30 series tires. No matter how f-in strong a wheel is, they're not indestructible and WILL crater on a mean *** pothole or something similar. Sure they may look cool for a while, heck, I even ran some staggered 18's on my truck when I had it, but I also had to drive it everyday and had several nice "custom touches" after a few thousand miles. And this was after being super careful, dodging everything in sight, polishing them obsessively etc etc (They were billet aluminum too, Budnik Tiller's) so in my opinion "O" made the right choice, now if it were a show car not driven much then maybe the other face would have been cool, but even so, again, 4-5 years down the road fat lips willb be played, anybody remember how big spinners were at first? that's just my opinion based on actual experience, bottom line, it's your cash and buy what you like, even if that means 13" wires and whitewalls, if that's what makes you happy go for it and to heck with what other people think.

I like the rims! Big lips doesn't equal strong wheels, i've seen some heavy cast wheels made by adr/axis/hp that had fat lips and wasn't strong at all. These ggame wheels look like good quality rims.
