anyone have a DIY on how to "pre load" or "load" your struts?

also thoughts. comments, pros and cons?

yes ive looked up as much as i can about it but im not sure what its worth, what you do it leave the upper control arm bolts fintertight (multi link for the rear) and drop it on the ground then go and tighten them up as appose to tightening them up in the air. i was wondering if anyone has done this and what its worth. i may be useing the wrong termanology for preload.
