Pics with Sterns II

Here is the pic of my 8 with the Stern II tourning sport wheels, Falken ZE 512 tires, and dropped with Tein H spec. These wheels are the same as RX8power and Fanman. I wish the Tein H spec dropped a bit more up front though, but the ride is pretty nice.

Specs: 18X8.5 front and rear
245/40/18 Falkens ZE 512

I love those Sterns--they are on my wish list--hopefully I'll be the 1st Nordic Green with em on the board.

Fanman said his stern wheels rubbed the front calipers with the 38 offset :o

Nice, looks good on silver. Yeah, same with my car. The back of the car the drop is about perfect, the front I have the same issue where it is about 1/2" to 1" still too high. On my car the 38 mm offset front was a hair to far in, so it did rub my caliper a bit. Still have my spacer from my previous setup so just put those back on.

looks nice, if you wanted more drop you should've went with the s techs instead. Otherwise looks good. Look forward to bumping into your car in the future.

Looks nice man, I really was looking to get these rims for my SS 8 too later on down the road. I am going to have to agree that it would probably look a little better with the Tein S tech springs. Hope to run into sometime, nice car.

Mine's is actually 38mm offset and I don't have a problem at all with the rubbing of the calipers. As far as getting the front license off, some cop just gave me a fix it ticket so I guess I'm gonna have to keep the license on for a while. I was too lazy to take it off for the picture, maybe next time.

I regret not getting the S tecs, but for now the H tecs will do. Besides, I did notice an improvement in body roll and the ride isn't as harsh as I thought it would be.

If I went with these wheels 18x8.5 all around could I just swap them out with my current tires? The ride height and appearance shouldn't be different than with the OEM rims huh? I'm not really trying to drop my car with a suspension kit. Unless I went with 19s

I have heard of people putting 245's on the OEM wheels but I never heard of anyone keeping the OEM tires on a wheel that is 18X8.5 You may want to do a search or ask your tire dealer if the fits okay.
