Finally got the 19 inch Privat multi spokes replaced with something a little more to my liking... just in time for NOPI 2007 this year... These are the wheels Pearlsteath sold me off this forum.... heavy as hell Speed Star D5R (Volk knock offs).
All 4 rims are 19x9 (+45) but I have 255/35 in the front and 275/30 in the back, so semi-staggered if you will... the cool thing is that the color of these rims almost perfectly match the Ti Gray Mazda color... the wheels are a touch on the bluer side, but it is hard to tell in most light... Suspension was also lowered with JIC coil-overs, and no rubbing anywhere. Car sticks like glue; gotta turn off DSC all the time now.

Sweeeeet! I like the gray on em. Welcome to the Speed Star club.... offset is 28 on mine, too wide the shop has to roll the fenders.

Not good for tires but looks cool as hell IMO

Kane, would absolutely love to have the lip too, such as your +28's....
Your goldies look awesome with the blue...very classy and sporty at the same time.
It's just too bad that the Speed Star 19" wheel and tire combo weighs in at over 53 LBS each... 4 fricking gyroscope/flywheels at each corner... plus all the xtra rolling resistance with the fat boy tires, the optima battery (44 lbs vs. 22 lbs stock!) and of course a 70 pound subwoofer box, my mileage is down to 14.5-17.5 mpg!
What we'll do for some looks
thanks guys

Well MPG goes to **** with the turbo anyway... but it picks up nice!!!!! I have no stereo stuff, nor do I plan on it, so that isn't an issue.

You could always fill the tires with helium... HE HE HE, Mythbusters said it works... .04 oz lighter on a football.

The lip is great, but the cost to fix the fenders is high! I was told 3K, but the dealer is paying so whatever.

In my attempts to copy Kane et al, I also got some 19x9 SSW D5R for my TG. I also put them on the scale... 27 lbs, 6 oz. Yikes! At least they look cool...

I bought mine off of ebay, and mine didn't come with any centercaps, let alone the original D5R center caps. I noticed that Chamberlains didn't have centercaps either. Find any that fit?

What is the stock wheel weight? balefire.... turbo bro, then you don't have to worry about it so much! LOL

I do not know what would fit... Tirerack carries the wheels, so maybe they can get you centercaps?

Yup, that's the reported weight, although I will confirm this myself with my postal scale when I mount some V710s hopefully in a few weeks

Yea, mine didn't some with them either, but I have been meaning to measure the opening and do some searching....nothing yet.... Too bad the Mazda caps are too small, since they fit the Privats perfectly... If you find any let me know, and I will do the same! Also don't have any hubcentric rings either... but those aren't hard to get... just not too worried about it anyways, as I tighten my lugsoff the ground and very carefully...

I think these wheels were discontinued some time ago, and you can't get em from Tire Rack, even though I have seen them on their web page.... but don't quote me..
