Picked out the rims, Now which tires??
Hey guys,
Ive chosen to go with some 19 x 8 rims for my 8.
Im looking into some tires 235/35/R19, but not sure which ones to get, and which one is the best buy.
Here is a link of some tires im considering.
http://www.wheelsdirectonline.com/tires/2353519.htm
am looking for the 180-200 range, and suggestions?
EDIT - How do the KUMHO MX run? Anyone have them?
The have a pretty good rating on tirerack.com
Thanks

2010 Prius - Miss the 8
200 range.. hmm.. I guess Nittos? Or Falkens Azenis perhaps if you can find them in the 200 range. Push it to the 300 range and you're talking about some great tires :P

For under $200 a tire for 235/35/19 for either the Falken ST-115 Azenis or the Falken GR-Beta FK-451's, you can take your pick. I have had experience with both tires, and they're pretty good. I mean, nothing like a $300 tire, but for the price I'd actually recommend the Azenis or 451's over Kumhos.

Thanks guys, Im going to shop around and try to find the best prices.
Im going to get 19" NS Racing Cybers
They have a machined finish that looks pretty sweet
Off the car they look darker, but I think its just the light
If I am correct the +45 offset will fit?

From all my research 18x8 114.3 bolt pattern stock offset of 50 so i assume 45 would be fine. I like those. How much and where? Don't worry, not going to get them just looking for every wheel resource i can.

I have the Toyo T1S on my car now. I really like them a lot. Ride seems softer than the stock Bridgestones, but traction seems better. I have the 235/35/19's up front on my car. I got them for under $200 a piece over at www.edgeracing.com. They are a bit lighter than the Falken GRB-451's. I asked this same question here a while back & people were pretty universal that for the under $200 range the Toyo T1S was the best tire out there. Will caution you that probably within the next 6 months they will be coming out with the replacement called the T1R, & Falken will be introducing the ST-615 which I have heard some very good reviews on (but don't know if/what 19" size they will be coming out with).
