? painting rear rotors?
hey how do you paint the rear rotors? i was painting my calipers and was going to paint the rotors the same time but the break pad/calipers are in the way of part of the rotor? how do you guys do it? i can only think of painting what you can see, put the wheel back on drive 3 inches take the wheel off again ect.. but i know there has to be an easier way... the front rotors are no problem. any help would be greatly appriciated thanks.

I believe that you must remove the rear calipers to paint the rotors.
In this caliper painting thread you can see Xcelr8 painted both the calipers and the rotors at the same time.

I am actually painting mine right now as we speak, taking a break for the first coat to semi-dry.
This is what I did, I had someone sit in the car and take the e brake off and car out of gear. (I am in a level garage and wanted the person to hit the brake just in case something did start rolling while one side was on Jack stands.) Then I just rolled the rotor itself by hand, it is a little hard to grip and roll, but it can be done. Seems alot easier than pulling the calipers.
