Ordering Volk CE28N. Need help with offsets

I finally decided to pull the trigger on a set of Volk CE28N Genesis wheels but I have no clue what offset to order.

I want a deep lip so that I can get the spokes concave like the pic below. They will be 18x9.5 on all 4 corners. I don't mind rolling my fenders but I do not want to pull them. I also plan to install Tein S-Tech's so it will have a 1" drop.

For a drop of only 1.4" in front and 0.7" in rear and no flaring, I'd probably stick with a clean setup rather than an aggressive stance. Either a +35, or +36. But I don't know what offset they begin to concave. The guys in the aggressive wheel fitment thread go for a slammed (2 inch or so) and fender flared look.

I think you'll be happy with 18x9.5 +28 with 265's. You'll need to roll your fenders though.

There is also a +34 and you could fit 275's if thats the route you want to go. If anything though the +28 will be a tad more concave.

I am thinking 18's might look too small.

If I went with a 19x9.5, I have the choice to go +25 or +36.

+25 would fit with 245's + rolled fenders. 255's would require a little pull and camber adjustment.

That's retarded.

Less traction for a more concave spoke?

18x9.5 +22, seems like something that you are looking at. Not super agressivie, and w/ a pull u can run a lot of tire.

+1 I'm very interested to see what you end up getting

It's a shame that our cars don't leave to much room for a very aggressive wheel. but, with a minor roll/ pull you could pull it off. This is a good place to start to make sure you buy what you truly are looking for.

What exactly is involved when pulling fenders?

I can rent a fender roller but I don't have a clue how to pull my fender. I would love to fit a +22 wheel but only if it looks like it fits.

I think Tiltmode was selling a set of those not too long ago.

They were sold at like 2gs w/ Toyo R1R tires on them. 18x9.5 et +22. Looked insane!

Sold them cheap, $2300 with 50% R1Rs. Still have them in my possession actually, if any SoCal 8 would be willing/wanting to test fit we could see how much work it needs to fit stock fenders. 9.5 +22 wouldn't take much work, I don't think.

Just to make it clear, 18x9.5 +22 w/255/35 cleared my fenders far too easily, even with neutral camber. I put on 5mm spacers and it still was pretty tucked - Ideally for me it would be 9.5 +10/12ish with a 255/35, but I'm on mutilated (flared) fenders.

If you're worried about fitting as much rubber as possible just choose the higher offset. If you're buying these for performance (you seem to want more rubber), then why are you getting 19's?

If anyone wants to see more pictures of what an 18x9.5 +22 CE28n Genesis looks like on an rx8, just check out my flickr. The rears in these have 5mm spacers though 10mm would have been ideal, personally.

One small pic for those too lazy to click the link in my sig :P

Oh Team you silly goose!

I've raised my car since those pics, if you're referring to me. May be lowering it again later this week, need to find a sweet spot prior to aligning.
