Opinion on Tein Basic Coilovers?

Opinion on Tein Basic Coilovers?

Well the Tein basics are a great price brand new, i just want to know what everyones opinion is on them.

Right now my 8 is my DD but i will be going to track days and maybe AutoX down the road.

Oh perfect person to respond, do you think they would hold up fairly well in autox?

I had tein basics for 6 months and upgraded to JIC Magic coilovers. Basics have low ride hight adjustability and they are not adjustable. I would recommend adjustable coilovers.

They'll hold up just fine for AutoX use. Are they the best coilover for the job...not at all...But for what you are looking for, you will be happy with them.

Alrite well thanks guys, im not really sure what im going to do i guess for now ill look around and figure out prices on some adjustable ones, but i may just go with the basics until i feel the need to have something better than that.

buy them. ride around in other setups, find out what you like/dislike and make a judgement call. That's what I did.

Yea thats what i was thinking because i found a site that does just over 800 for the basics

If you want adjustability...I.E. ride height changes. You'd be better off with the Megans since they will go much lower than the Basics. If your talking about dampening adjustments well...they are both crap.
