Is it ok to run this size tire on this size wheel?
This isn't for the RX8, just a general question.

Is it ok to run a 245/45/18 tire on a 18x7.5 wheel? Or is the thread to wide for that wheel?

I wouldn't suggest running larger than a 235/45 for a 7.5" wheel.

first off. 245 / 45 /18 is not the right size to match the stock 225 / 45 /18

what you want is a 248 / 40 /18.

and yes it will work on a 7.5 inch wheel depending on the tire.
