i FINALLY ordered my wheels, after months (and months) of deliberating. i got them after work today so too late to get mounted, hopefully can tomorrow morning (but may need a roll so i will probably have to wait even longer :wallbash:

if you're gonna hate on the brand, PUH-LEASE go elsewhere and don't rain on my parade!! if you want to send me donations to upgrade to a name brand, i will happily accept :evil_laug ...until then, i can only afford what i can afford, and i love 'em.

thanks maz. ha ha, no, my driveway is a steep incline. it's ridiculous really. the 1 inch garage bump stop thing...yeah i almost hit that everyday b/c of how it slopes but then goes flat at the garage. i'm lowered, and ms bumper obviously, but it's just ridiculous!! ha ha. i was sweating bullets when i bought the house...thought my 1st "project" was going to be flattening out the driveway somehow!

yeah you will need a roll and potential pull. I had 18x9.5 +27 with 275/35 and required a pull front and rear to fit.

congrats! have fun at the shop tomorrow getting those badboys fitted. Remember to go to a legit shop, not some janky mom n' pop shop that doesn't have a clue on how to roll fenders. Last thing you want are some waves in your fenders with your new wheels :icon_no2:

Nice, I have the P45R's bronze 18x9.5+30 on 255's all the way around and it is lowered (Its in the aggressive thread) Those are some really nice wheels for the money in my opinion and they are not heavy at all they are actually lighter than stock I believe (I could be wrong) My 8 is nordic green and I was hoping to see someone else with these wheels with a different color 8. Make sure to post some pics, again, nice wheels.

They are pretty dark but once you put them on, they will look lighter. Even when they are dirty, they still look normal lol, once you clean them, they look very tastee... no homo. I actually rolled mine along the ground but with them mounted on the tires.:icon_tup:

true. well i'm going discount tire to get the tpms switched over and tires mounted. i have a good shop here that i trust, but no estan open on the weekends, f*ckers. so i guess i'll have to wait until monday to get them fitted. boo

oh cool man, i'll have to look there for your post, i hadn't seen them on an 8 before. well, dozer's got the p45f's and they look bad ass. bronze on ng sounds good too! post up a pic here if you got it handy. i'll definitely update when they're on, or at least when i have the tires on.

My Work's are off getting powdercoated and re-polished right now, can't wait to see those looking like new again :)

ah i don't know, some people hate on knock-offs. they're rotas. not the cheapest by far, but definitely not the most expensive. i actually got really high-end tires, so my wheel budget was pretty minimal. but i love the style, expensive or not i wanted a concave/dish 5-spoke.

yeah i'm going to call gene monday. i called last week to set up an appt but he was out (vacation?) all last week - i don't want to deal w/ anyone but him and rene, even tho i'm sure the whole shop is good. oh, it's been forever since we talked - but he painted and installed my ms kit. did a great job too.

oh man, Gene was hit by a car on his bike (motorcycle), someone apparently cut him off to short and layed it out etc. He might have been taking a week off for medical or something.
I'm keeping the centers black for sure, just with a more brilliant/durable finish, the paint on my wheels was pretty weak which is a shame considering if I paid full retail for those I'd be out over 8-900 a wheel for poor paint etc., hopefully mine are an exception and not the rule. Rene has been coming by almost every night after work to help on my car, I'm really looking forward to showing the world his work come November :) He told me about your sideskirts, we'll be mounting mine the same way, really looking forward to it since Beasley South tore up my passenger side one pretty good. (ugh, tore up my engine bay too, bastards)

2tone just to give you an idea of what it could possibly look like, the pictures don't do it justice. Maybe one person has seen my car in person and he is not on the forum but drives an rx8. The car is lowered on tein basic and in person is kind of very very low in the front and so I have lots of issues getting into certain parking lots or speed bumps ha ha. I think yours might look better but I can only say that because I can only see them online. Hopefully you will be lowered lol, so I probably could have taken better pictures: 3rd picture gives a even better idea IMO. The car is kind of dirty too.

yeah, totally. glad they fit though so i could drive them home, etc. i really just wanted them on!! now i just gotta remember to NOT drive it like i normally do! on the way home this a.m. i could hear it scuff in the back over the smallest bumps, ha ha. it'll do though until i can get into the shop.

didn't feel like there was a lot of lip to roll in the front. more so in the back where it's more obvious which is good.

Those look sweet with a black 8. Yup, my wheels are the same size/offset and they just have a bit of a fatter lip because of the tire size I choose(255). Yes my wheels are kind of close to being tucked because of my coilovers setting, yours might look a bit lower with coilovers too and the Tein S have a pretty nice and even drop IMO. Your wheels look great, I have to say. Also with my coilovers, I would probably have to get a roll most likely if I were to go with 275, I can get away with 265 but 255 while being as low as I am now would be so far a perfect fit without having to roll the fenders. I also forgot to mention that the MS kit makes your wheels stand out more for some reason, atleast the side skirts, very nice!
