It's a bizarre looking tire, that's for sure.
I'd be interested to hear if they are any good.

If you go to the nittotire.com site they give it thier best rating on road noise, traction, etc. so I'm interested to find out about them.

From a post when I first got 'em in August -
"- Only had 'em on a week, but my initial impressions are very good. This tire is quiet!! The sidewalls are a little soft, but fine for street driving - contributes to a nice ride tho. We'll have to see how they wear and if their performance changes much; so far I am very pleased."

Almost 3 monts on them and I still like them alot. Still quiet and pretty grippy in the dry. The wet however is not as good as the FI GSD3's I used to ride one, they get a little slick pushing em in the wet (which is never reccomended).

They seem to wear well, and I like the fact they are not directional - you can rotae corner to corner which might give a bit longer lifespan (despite the 260 rating).

Overall, I love the GSD3's and heard great things about the Pilot Sports, but unless you can find a great deal on those, these are really good bang for the buck. That, and they look cool too.

BTW - $564 shipped in that size from Discounttiredirect with their $100 off right now.
