Any opinions about this wheel? I don't read Japanese, so if someone could translate this for me and see if they would fit my RX-8 it would be much appreciated!

 

Sorry, can't read it either, but my eyes don't think it fits an 8.... too fussy looking (smthg w/the little 'Y' spokes)... but then if it was PSed onto an 8 one could see more how it might look. Just an opinion.

 

the rx8 is the only car mesh wheels dont look good on...

reminds me of my supra days.
im not sure of they will fit the 8 that well
but then again i think those wheels will look good on a cutlas

 

The Japanese says the samething as the English... "Rays' Metal Coating"

 

im pretty sure they do fit... they fit on the g35 coupe

by the way those rims look REALLY nice on the g35coupe. i wonder how theyll look on a rx8

 

I found a website that lists the sizes and offsets for the wheels. Does anyone know what the RX-8 can swallow for wheels? Also offsets if anyone knows.

 

I had a customer that was interested in those as well. He didnt even have his new car yet, he was stuck between getting a G Coupe and a RX8 and wanted those wheels on either car.


I personally think those wheels look good, they have to be seen in person to be appreciated.

 

Can anyone do a chop with a winning blue with these rims?

Does anyone know how much they weigh? Say for 18x8 or 18x9? If you are going to drop the cash, I'd want to make sure they are lighter than the standard rims which I think weigh 22 or 23lbs?! I've looked at the wheelweight web page, but the SF Winnings are not listed.

oh haha sorry. I think these rims will look nice on the 8. But spolkier rims tend not to look so hot on this car

 

Here is a pic of the brilliant black with a look a like of these rims.

I think there hot as hell. everyone else is doing the same exact rims, atleast these are different.

 

Along the same lines, does anyone know what the weight of the stock 18" rims are?
