I have a line on a good deal on a nearly new set. Any feedback would be appreciated. How are they on the street? Rain? Track?

Handling characteristics: grip? break away? communication through sound and feel?

 

My first set were wonderful in all conditions. My second set were great at first, but I'm liking them less and less every day. In the rain their awesome, they don't even notice standing water of nearly an inch. The sidewalls are too soft for agressive driving in the dry, but fine for the wet or normal sprited driving. They're pretty quiet, and fairly progressive in the way you lose traction. If you're looking for something good for all year and you deal with a lot of rain you'll probably enjoy them. They're defnitely not a max performance summer tire though.
