well i have a subwoofer box in the tunk so that cuts more than half the trunk down. :/

Anyways ...... here are the pics (not too good since they were taken with an iphone)









They look sorta bronze in the pictures but like I said, its the crappy camera quality

I highly doubt I can put my stechs on. I can barely put my fingers between the fender and the rear tires. ;(

Has anyone else not thought they could lower the car and it end up allright? My rear left looks a tad lower than the rear right, is this normal or could the shocks be failing? Its an 04' and it has the stock springs and shocks. Thanks

very nice, i got the same wheels, i think i'll take the center caps off too and clean up the rust. Btw, did you have a chance to try installing the tpms?

No, I havent tried to put tpms in these wheels. The funny thing is, my dash isn't acting as anything is wrong, no beeping and no lights or anything.

For me, it usually come on after driving it around for 15 mins... no beeps, so somewhat tolerable.

hey WVBoosted8, i am about to run the similar rims and tires set up soon, but i don't know what to do with TPM? did you install them after all? Also, did you use spacer ?
Really nice looking VR 8 you got there by the way.

Just swapped out my wheels for these and I also installed TPMS and they fit great on these wheels. I am so digging the look.



Installed (need to clean tires!!)

did you get 18x9 +30 wheels with 245/40/18 on tires? where did you get the rotas from?

Yes they are 18x9 +30 Rota Boost, I got them from Wheeldude.com they are on the Stock tires. 225/45/R18

I will be replacing them with 245/40/R18 when the time arises.

whats the spec of lug nuts you guys used, is it 12mm x 1.5? Does anybody know if the base model 8 comes with TPM??
