New wheels!! Nice and Flush

hello peeps,

i got my wheels on! i forgot to buy tuner lugs so i have the stock ones on (Bleh). I had originally ordered them in black but i guess they got confused. Anyways, i really like the way my car sits, it looks flush and i get no rubbing at all, im also on OEM shocks w/ s-techs. i thought that my tires were going to be streched Badly! but i was wrong, the rim is still being protected by the Tires outer lip. tires are: Champiro 328 245/40/18, i have had these tires on since the Begining of 2010; and they still look new.

Wheels are: Rota P45R 18x9.5 ET 30

Wow those do look really good... I was thinking of getting some bronze rims for my LY. Haven't seen any with that combo but I think it would be nice. I think my stechs look lower than those on stock rims but it may just be how it looks in the pics

How long have you had your s techs in? Were they professionaly installed or? I hope your car settles a bit as that wheel gap is a bit suspect. Here's what my car looked like on S-techs a while back:

I have to agree, looks a bit high for S-Techs. I can also see where it rubs on the rear tires.

I have installed S techs at least 5 or 6 times on RX8's and I agree your car looks high. If a shop did it then I doubt they preloaded them correctly. You can do it one wheel at a time with a jack. Then it will look a lot better But then again you are probably not sitting on perfectly flat ground either but it still looks high to me.

Next step, taking that dealership license plate cover off. Pretty sure that isn't an Acura. Wheels are the exact color I'm looking to get. Car looks nice.
