I'm looking to purchase new wheels and tires for my 8 in a few months and I want some opinions what I should get for my needs. I only really drive the 8 less then 5k miles a year in summer only, I might be autocrossing or taking it to the local road course maybe 2 times at most this summer. I was wondering if I should get some racing wheels or just go with something else. There is a list of a few wheels I love on my velocity red 8, pros and cons of purchasing these.

I guess my real question is would it be worth buying the work emotion's over the MB Battle for the mostly daily driving, and a few track times a year. The works are obviously like almost a grand more then the MB Battles. Any opinions would be appreciated and if anybody plans on selling any of these rims or similar ones send me a message.
