Whelp....looks like tire install will have to be NEXT weekend. Lug nuts ordered from Amazon are still not in yet and should be mid-week. So the whole fender roll process and mount up will be done next weekend unfortunately. Rims look so sexsay with the Hankook tires mounted up waiting for action......getting anxious

Also wanted to note, the rim weighed roughly around 21.8 lbs averaging, and with the Hankook 255/40 combo, it came in a rough average of 49 lbs contrast to the stockies average of 48 lbs. So for adding 2 in more of wheel width (18x10) not to mention a low offset of +28 and only having 1 more lb in weight total, I'm satisfied with it.

So guys hopefully late next week the good news of shipping will begin. just take that with a grain of salt. I am told the batch of 18's are scheduled for final machining next week. We shall have to wait and see if it happens. Just letting you know what I am told.

the higher offset 18x10 will definitely be lighter due to a thinner mating pad.

Thanks, Rishie

As promised Rishie, there you go

Still have some work left to do before the car is ready with the new tire/rims. I'll post up some final pics on the street when it's all done which hopefully should be Sunday.

Well I have the details in the aggressive thread about that. I already plan on lowering more and noted there is more work to be done. Rears are gonna go down another 1/2 - 3/8" max and front 1/4 max. Can only fit 1 finger between the front tire and fender, rears 2. Rear's are going to be around 25 7/8" from fender to ground and fronts 25 3/4". It's not as low as some you see over there but any lower and it's gonna hit with the **** roads we have over here. They're quite brutal.

Keep in mind the car already is lowered, just needs to be lowered more

'nilla I know, just that I'm not completely satisfied with the wheel gap myself

Look at it this way, you'll have a different color than mine on the SS, so it WILL look different . We could be like the SS F14's bro's rolling into SS 13 Unless I can't afford it

What width/offset you get and color?

18x10

my offset is borderline aggressive only because i wanted to run 275's on all four corners

i'll be buying another set of wheels that are far more aggressive but i wanted something that can put down a lot of rubber to the road.

Still 18x10 tho - like i've been saying - i've been stuck on this **** star's mentality regarding the width; 'If it ain't at least 10inches - i ain't ******' with it'

275's are run a lot but mostly by those who use narrower rims than 10" and auto x with them.

cough up the offset numbas and tire you're getting
