Question New rotors/pads, weird rotor wear..

Replaced the front rotors/pads the other weekend. (centric rotors/hawk hps pads)

Here is what they look like so far:
http://picasaweb.google.com/nezro500...ey=xdaU5865WxU

The first 2 are the rights, the last 2 are the lefts.

Not sure if it's noticeable but the left seems to be wearing a lot more evenly then the rights. I am also getting a notable drag on the right at initial movement of the car.

No vibrations/pulling to either side. Stops are pretty good and consistent.

Is this normal? Should it even out with some more miles? (only got 150 so far)

From the looks of the rotors, the bedding in process is not done. Did you do the break-in as recommended by Hawk? IIRC, properly bedded rotors with Hawk pads are a lot darker than what is shown on your pics.

I did the procedure that was on the hawk instructions. But will be doing it again.

I did the job. Any idea why the pad wouldn't make full contact?

Ok just a followup. Things are starting to improve, I think when did the initial bedding i was a little too nice. I am now seeing the 'darker' color and the 'untouched' ring on the right side is getting smaller. couple more sessions and i'm hoping everything will even out. The drag I was feeling is also gone at this point.
