Quick question: What are the specs on the wheels? I only ask as they look like they stick fairly far out. Dropping your car will definitely help out the looks, and can help with handling depending what setup you go with.

I agree with the lugs but I gotta disagree with recommending coilovers this early in the game.

we don't know what the OP's plans / goals for the vehicle are and considering his car is relatively stock looking, I don't think spending that kind of money on coilovers at this time is the best use of his funds.

If we knew he wanted to track or have an agressive drop, or he had an aftermarket kit, then I could see us talking about coilovers.

Thanks for the photochop, gives a great visual aid.
Theyre XXr 522 18x8.5/9.5 with 30/25. def agressive, but I much preffer agressive setup, the rims dont stick out as much as they look in the pics, I kind of wish the rear would be a bit more...I was actually ponderin rear spacers but Idk if it would be a good idea...
In Mooresville, why got any good parts lyin around?

Yeah Im gona pass on coilovers untill I get some more cash, definitly going with some drop springs though.blue lugs too. Just gota get out the powdercoatin stuff to do them when I get some time

Aggressive offsets/widths call for an aggressive drop. If you'd like to try to pull off that look, I would recommend looking into some coilovers, perhaps a used set from the classifieds section. Many believe low offset wheels to look good when a car is lowered, but at standard height the look is typically less than desirable.

Thanks for all the suggestions!
not a bad start...

a simple kit would probably go over a lot better than say a veilside kit. Your rim style was pretty simple so you may want to steer clear of 'over doing it'. Keep it clean and simple. Dropping it and getting clear corners n' aero add on's are a good start.

also, kinda random n' my apologies if you've already answered this but...whats the sidewalls on your tires? they look kinda tall...

what kind of lugs did you get btw? open ended??

So I Just came upon a realization that made me feel like an idiot, I havent been around my car much since the swap, and I just noticed it now(second time at the car since)
The idiots who swapped my wheels put the 9.5's on the left and the 8.5's on the right, hence the not so great look (since the pics were from the right)

cost me 40$ to swap em but now the car looks a Lot better, the way it should.

Yet another frustration- My blue lugs never came, so I sharpied the silver ones blue untill I get some blue ones in..

-------
tires are 235 40's, yeah theyre a little tall but theyre snow tires so...

I think all you need to lower it down and it will look fine. For me, I don't like the clear corner look on WB

Im thinking of getting the same ones for my next rx8 but 19" ones say 19x10 +25 or so.

would these fit?
Also I would assume it would cost to have the fenders rolled, how much does that cost?

yeah i have the same offset but you wouldnt be able to do 19x10 in the front so try to go stagger and rolled fender are like 40-50 depend on your autoshop. i went with 19x8.5 front and 19x10 in the rear n i had to rolled the rear fenders

19x10+25 at stock height would be a good look...............................jk. Socompro is trying to help, but I really don't think those are the best answers.

I'm buying these wheels and I have springs and many other parts sitting under my bed... just waiting for the wheels for a whole day of installing and tuning. But these pictures get me excited, the drop will be goooood.

It depends on how you organize the look of your car. Any color car will look good with black rims...just my 2 cents
