No weights yet.

very nice.. i hope they make them in black. i'll definitely grab a set if they do :)

TopGear8 11-03-2009 06:40 PM

I still am not that big of a fan of them.

Pending pictures of them on a car..

Hater.

18x10.5 + 15 woot. Damn I wish they had 17x10.5+15.

TopGear8 11-03-2009 07:07 PM

I mean there cool wheels. But i'd much rather have the RPF1, NT03+M, and the RP03, before these..

Ross_Dawg 11-03-2009 08:10 PM

Hmmm, big letdown they dont have any wider 17's than 8.5". They should have AT LEAST a 17x9 or 17x10 :icon_no2:

J8635621 11-03-2009 11:58 PM

Best picture I have...I can try and get better ones tomorrow if you want.

I like these over the RPF1's. i like the more spread out spokes, the thinner barrel, and they should be around the same weight as the RPF1's.

-RX8- 11-04-2009 12:30 AM

wow, looks like it's heavier than the rpf1. also looks like they're still producing the rpf1.

Ross_Dawg 11-04-2009 12:32 AM

should be the same if not a tad lighter than the rpf1

gh8st 11-04-2009 12:36 AM

meh.. not really feeling the silver. flat black would be 1000x hotter

Endless Rotaries 11-04-2009 12:47 AM

Damn i wish it was more concave. not what i was expecting.

This wheel will be anywhere from 1-2 lbs heavier size for size over the RPF1.

This however might be a stronger wheel as a result and they've implemented a tire anti slip feature onto the barrel.

Rishie

Endless Rotaries 11-04-2009 12:48 AM

i am sure we're going to work on wider 17" Wheels.

This wheel is also a little MORE EXPENSIVE than the RPF1, HOWEVER IT APPEARS THE CENTERCAP IS INCLUDED. So that should balance it out.

Rishie

TeamRX8 11-04-2009 01:06 AM

Somehow I don't anticipate tire slip on the wheel to be an RX-8 issue

the 18 x 10.5 +38 would be perfect. Roll the rear fender lip and you're there. Going with +15 would be as showboat tardish of a move as they come. Suspension geometry and modification effort be damned, man I'm cool should always rule over being both smart and practical at the same time ....

.

Ross_Dawg 11-04-2009 01:12 AM

Too bad an NA 8 doesnt need a 10.5 wheel to be smart and practicle. Anything over a 285 on our car is pointless. So, getting a 10.5 over the 9.5 would just be as showboat tardish of a move as they come.

Do you mind pointing that out to me? I read:

The PF01 is engineered to exceed the RPF1’s
weight benefit, taking Enkei’s light-weight racing
wheel line to the next level

Ross_Dawg 11-04-2009 03:36 PM

Anyway, here's another shot of the 370. Definitely not as concave as I'd hoped for but w/e.

^+1. 285 on a NA is pointless, autocross is pointless.

still looks good tho, you know what sizes those are?

Ross_Dawg 11-04-2009 03:46 PM

I dont see any official numbers but Im guessing those are the 18x10.5 +38's with 275/35 star specs

imput1234 11-04-2009 03:49 PM

that might be too big, tires are square.

Ross_Dawg 11-04-2009 03:49 PM

Another shot showing teh flushness (or lack thereof)
