need some help!!!!!

hi to all 8 drivers...

have some question on the numbers on the rims... for ecample, if a rim has the following number like 245/40/18, what do you mean by that?? correct me if Iam wrong k? 245 refer to the thickness of the rim, 40 refers to the offset of the rims?? and 18 refers to the diameter of the rim ya?? and what's the suitable offset for our 8?? and how come some rims specification are like 18 x 8.5 etc?? what does this mean again??

i am getting more and more confused liao...

cheers

No.
245 is tire width.
40 is aspect ratio: height of tire above the rim
18 is diameter of rim.

I don't know the offset.

18 x 8.5 is a RIM size (18 diameter x 8.5 width), as opposed to 245/40/18, which is a TIRE size.

The stock rim is a +50 mm, however other fitments will work, depending on the width of the rim you choose.
