I took these at Hot Import Nights Chicago a few months ago. Two are off a 350Z, and I believe that is the straight silver. The third is in Gunmetal from a Skyline.

These are ones that I've found elsewhere. I'm pretty sure the 350Z is plain silver, got the pic off another thread. The MS RX-8 is the mercury silver, and I hijacked that from another thread. The last pic is from the Mackin Industries SF-Challenge website.

Hijacked these too. The first two are in what I think are white, and are from the R-Magic widebody RX-8. I think the other is another shot of the Volk Racing RX-8.

Just ordered SF-Challenges 18x9 all the way around in new SBC finish -- check out the new chromish rims on Greddy's 350Z. In the meantime, I also ordered Michelin PS2's in 245/40/18 to replace my worn out Potenzas.

Where did you order from? Did you have to specifiy an offset of any kind? I'm also looking into these wheels. Would LOVE to see pics after install!!!! Thanks!

I ordered from Vick at wheeloptions.com. Go to importhookup.com and check out the Volk thread. Minor/major change in the order: it seems that Rays has cancelled the phat SBC finish, so I guess it's the Mercury Silver for me now.

If you're looking at 19s, you won't have to worry about the offset. If you're looking at 18s, Rays has a recommend setup of 18x8 and 18x9, but you can order 18x9 all four corners. The front will need a different offset in that case, but you can leave that to Vick.

I also think it's 60 to 90 days for delivery, so I won't have pics any time soon.

You should check out the Mackin Industries page:

http://www.mackinindustries.com/rays_sfchallenge.html

But what will happen is that when you ask about the rims in a particular size for a particular vehicle, they will have recommended offsets. If you want to change the offsets, that's up to you.

Will the TPMS still work with 19" rims??? I wanted to get 19x8.5 front , 19x9.5 rear. I'm also dropping my car by 1 inch, What would be a good tire size??

Hmmm. I'm not sure about the TPMS. A good tire size would be 235/35/19 and 265/30/19 or 235/35/19 and 275/30/19. The first setup, however, puts the back wheels at a smaller diameter than the front.

I got the 18s. If you're looking at 19s, the package with Nitto tires is somewhere between $3000 and $3100 shipped. I was quoted $3000 at RevHighOnline for the 19x8.5 and 19x9.5.

I ordered Michelin PS2 tires separately, however, because delivery on the wheels is 2 to 3 months, and I need tires now. Tire Rack has a special where you can get MSP2 245/40/18 tires for $225 each.

I need help with a decision everyone. I just got back from my local import shop who installed my RB springs. Which is a great ride with a small amount of drop. And they happen to have a set of SF Challenges in gun metal (I have a Sunlight Silver 8) 19X8.5 and 19X9.5 with the correct offsets. They bought them hoping they would sell fast, but they have had them for 5 monthes. I believe it is fate because I have been debating on these or GT-7's for a month now. Also I can pick them up for $2100 tax is included. My only concern is tire rotation, I suppose I can go left to right, but I have to have the tires yanked off each rim when I do that. Any advise you be appreciated. I am thinking of just going for it.

your best bet is to screw the rotation...you would have to get bi-directional tires...to rotate..that's a DAMN good deal...

i don't think they will work on 18's either John..it's just the way they sit on the inside lip of the rim...some rims you get lucky and some you don't...unless they are specifically for the RX8...the guys at Tire Rack and Vivid Racing I believe have a running list of which wheels will take TPMS...but I know the SF's don't.... ..sorry

Since the SF Challenges are multipiece rims, the TPMS wont work.
