Question Need Rim advice/opinion

Guys,

I've been going back and forth on what rims to get. I have the style that I'm looking for so I just need your guys opinion on what I should get. I have attached 4 rim styles that I want but cant afford the 2 out of the 4 because it will cost me an arm and a leg. If you look at the pics its the Volk and Piaa Super Rozza I cant afford. However, I did some research on rim style similar to these and found the Axis Matrix and R1 Racing. I must say they come pretty darn close IMO. I'm looking for a 19x8.5 rim size and here is the break down of how much these rims cost:

Volk GTV: $685 per rim
Piaa Super Rozza: $560 per rim
Axis Matrix: $340 per rim
R1 Racing: $317 per rim

If you guys know of any rims with this kind of style please let me know. Any input is appreciated. I have a Nordic Green as my car color in case you are wondering

pfft.

volk gtv> all the other wheels you posted.

but if you can't afford the rozza's or the volks

the axis matrix's are very nice too. If you study the look of the R1's versus the axis's wheels - the axis wheels resemble a combination of the volk gtv's(because of the lipped spokes) and rozzas (because of the rivets) while the R1's resemble the rozza's.

IMO: Axis Matrix

but in regards to specs - why are you only going 8.5? why not 9" or 9.5"? Price?

I would either get the Axis Matrix, or some Work Emotion CR Kai. The Work's are a similar design to these wheels.

I like that look. Get what you can afford without getting full blown cheapo's. I bought axis wheels and I LOVE them.

Yea, I did study it and the axis does resembles both Volk and Rozzas. The R1's is eerily similar to the Rozzas which I also like and saw a memeber here in the forum running Rozzas. Price is a factor for me because simple difference wheel width is like a couple hundred dollars more. It looks like Axis Matrix is the consensus......

axis wheels are nice but they are just heavy, if weight isn't a major concern but price is then axis is one of the best buys out there

Agreed, decide what you will be doing most. I pick the Axis Circuit's because they are light. I plan on track racing...a lot. There's people in our club that still autocross with wheels that are a few pounds heavier than stock and they do fine.

Honestly, take your time on wheels. If you rush it, you will get wheels you didn't want. These are my 2nd pair because I was in such a rush to get some wheels.

R1's are heavy.. i used to have them in 18s. They looked nice and shiny, but they were damn heavy. Piaa has my vote. Kris had them on his ride and they looked legit

Read people, he can't afford the Volks or the Piaa's. Which I don't blame him, I wouldn't be able to either. They hold their value but you have to work with your budget.
