Try not to kill me for asking another " What tire should I buy " question but my head is spinning with all the options listed. I'm looking for 4 245/40-18's to replace the OEM crap I currently have as much tread as a pencil eraser. I'm looking for tread life more than anything else. I don't do the track but I do drive hard so a bit of grip would be appreciated but I don't need them so soft they melt to the pavement.

What would be your ultimate suggestion in this size with treadwear being the highest priority? I'm looking to spend anywhere from $150 to $200 per tire.

Goodyear F1 GS D3. Wear very well , have excellent dry grip and are outstanding in the wet. Quiet and smooth riding. Car and Driver gavethem the best tyre award ahead of 11 other brands including Michelin.
