Need Advice On Tires and Mods for Clearence

Hi Folks, This is the first Ime I've posted and am in need of some expert advice. I was lucky to have obtained a set of 4 19X9.5 +45 RP03 rims. Question is, do I need to modify to get the wheels under my stock '06 Shinka? Also what tires are recommendend would like a stretched look but not too extreme. Also, conscidering lowering an inch or so for better handling on the track as well. Just an FYI placed the front rim on and sticks out about a 3/8" past the front fender.

At that width and offset, the rim should not protrude past the fender. Are you sure the specs on the wheel are correct? Enkei's web site does not list that combination. Also, was that measurement taken at ride height, or with the car jacked up in the air?

It will stick out untill he gets a drop.

You want stretched tires..But then you want better handling on the track?

Stop contradicting yourself.

255mm would be a good size for you.

But since you bought 19" wheels...I can tell that track performance is not what you are looking for...

9.5" +45 won't stick out at all sounds like you may have a different offset based on the other comment

The bigger issue us getting a short enough 19" tire to prevent rubbing issues if you intend to lower the ride height. 19" wheels are not a very good choice for teh torqueless wondermachine ....

I didn't expect all of the great feedback, I appreciate all of your comments it's good to have a few good people help me through the thickets by sharing their experience. You are also correct the offset is +42. That being said would it require any mods for a set of 255/35/19 (i.e. General Exclaim UHP FR)? If I decide to drop her what method works best on a budget? I've looked over what Pettit Racing has to offer and found some VOGTLAND Sport Springs (good or bad idea).
