My EDFC cause trouble

hi guys, i have tein flex coilver and EDFC control, i had them for about half year, everything works fine. But few weeks ago, every time i turn on my car my DSC is flashing and also the "car slipping" light is always on, i kind ignore those lights, but yesterday i bring my car to the dealership, they did few recall, when i picked up today, they told me the power steering doesn't work. After few hour of checking, they find out my EDFC is connected to my power steering, and that's the problem that made my wheel hard to turn, so they disconnected my EDFC, and my power steering is working again. Anyone have this kind trouble with the Tein EDFC? Should i try to connect my EDFC again or take it out? BTW without the edfc, my car handling is not as good, it feel kind loose.

the edfc shouldnt be connected to the power steering, as far as I know it has motors that attach to the top of the strut and thats it. the only other connections it should have is an power and a ground. If this is indeed the case then there is no reason that the edfc would cause your power steering to fail..........basically dealer BS, unless hooked up way wrong.

If you had your EDFC installed by a TEIN dealer, this is bad...really bad. If you did this, shame on you! The EDFC should draw its power straight from the battery, period. Run a power line to connect to the battery. Run the accessory on wire to whatever accessory on wire you want. It's not that tough. But you really shouldn't be putting any sort of strain like the EDFC on any factory wiring.
