MS TII Centre Cap Fitting Help required...
******SOLVED******
Hi all,
I have the MS TII Rims, managed to get a new set of centre caps for them...(Carbon Mazdaspeed Diamond Cut).
Now, went to fit the caps last night, and they are TIGHT! The caps have rubber sealing rings around them, and I cant make them fit at all with the rings on. If i remove the first ring, they sorta fit, but stick out heaps.....
Has anyone got experience with these caps and getting them to fit? Is there a trick to it I'm missing??
Before anyone says the obvious, yes they are the right caps for the wheels.
EDIT: They are not the plastic push in type with clips, they are solid billet aluminium ones, with two rubber o-rings per centre cap...
Ta
*****SOLVED******
It appears at some point the wheels were painted again, so the cup for the centre caps was marginally smaller than required... some careful dremmeling, test fitting, then a bit more dremmel work, they fit snugly...
