Question MS sway bar install Question

Before I start I did search and indeed found the same question being asked but no answer was given. I vaguely remember reading a post answering the question but I can't seem to find it now. I did a 1 hour search yesterday with no luck so here it is:

I am installing the MS F&R strut braces and MS F&R sway bars tomorrow. The braces are of no concern but I want to know if I should lower the car before I fully torque the bolts on both sway bars?

Thanks in advance.

You do not need to concern yourself with this on a sway bar install.

correct. and you shouldn't need to unbolt the upper control arms so it's no an issue.

If you go to the link bellow then go to suspension>Front suspension>then to Front stabalizer bar, it says to remove the Tie Rode end. I don't recall anyone having to do this.

just follow the DIY expo posted. the online manual has you remove extra things for ease. it's not necessary.

I'll do that, the less things I take off the less I can screw up. I'm soaking those endlink bolts in WD-40 overnight, the last thing I want is a stripped or broken bolt. Thanks for the help.

OK, well I did the install today. Took me about 3 1/2 hrs to install the MS F&R tower bars, and MS F&R sway bars. Car feels tighter, tested on somne highspeed turns. Some body role still there but hopefully will be almost gone after I get the MS springs and shocks put in. All in all great products and funn to do

ditto, it's a LOT easier if you remove the tierod ends, especially for the really big front bars like RB etc.

The MS bars are probably the softest ones out there, you really need stiffer springs with them to make much of a difference ...

Yea I know, thats why I'm getting the MS ones next month. I hear they are about the stiffest out there. I'm not worried about ride quality everyday, I like the feel of the road.
