Hey, im looking to get mazdaspeed protege 17' wheels, anyone have any photos of these on an RX-8?? Will they fit properly, as far as offest goes....??? I'm going to be using them as snow wheels....can someone give me some help.....

 

The mazdaspeed wheels are size 17x7 with a 55mm offset. Will this fit the RX-8??? someone help me out

 

It it a 5 bolt ? It's kinda small and the offset might be a little too high.

yep, racing harts. 5 X 114, but with a 55mm offset, stock is 50mm right??? so 5 more mm, out, shouldnt matter should it? anyone tried putting these on...?

 

55mm means its less sticking out.. Im guessing the calipers wont clear the rims.

"The offset of a wheel is the distance from its hub mounting surface to the centerline of the wheel." I dont think offset actually has anything to do with spoke clearance though?? plus its only 5mm...?? i think im just going to have to test fit one on.....im trying to find some that are for sale on a local protege forum.
