Mazdaspeed rear suspension question

Can someone with MS springs/shocks tell me whether the left rear lower end of the spring ends facing outwards towards the left wheel or does it end facing medially .
Just trying to work out whether I have had my left rear MS suspension fitted correctly as I experience a knock at times. My left rear suspension is currently positioned with the lower spring seat notch being medially and the spring end also terminating medially.

Thanks

Rexi

That seems correct. The start of the spring (at the bottom) should face inward towards the middle of the car for the left side (driver's side on US model). On the passenger side, the start of the spring should face outwards towards the wheel.

No. I have the start of coil (at the bottom) facing the inside (towards the motor) on both the driver and passenger side. This was the way it was oriented on my stock shocks, so I just did the same thing.
