looking for pics of painted calipers

I am looking for pictures of painted calipers.
I am specifically looking for painted calipers with black cars.
I am trying to decide between black or red. I will eventually get
some AutoExe Extras, which are red, so i figure that would tie in nice.
please post some pics if ya got.

I havent searched yet, but if anyone has the How To. bookmarked please
post it up for easy reference for me and other users.

Thanks Matt

Here are mine. I think black would look just as good and you wouldn't go wrong with either color in my opinion. This was my "temporary fix" until I eventually replace them with a bigger brake kit.

I bought a caliper paint kit and did it myself by hand-painting them while the car was up on jackstands. Did four coats and let them dry pretty thoroughly but be aware, they'll still chip pretty easily if you bang tools or the rim against them.

Go with black for the hubs and calipers! IMO it makes for a very clean look becasue the calipers and hubs fade into the background.

I did this not too long ago. It takes a while but it is easy. Here are a couple of pics of my car.

Thanks. I bought the car with tint so I have no idea on the percentage.

please excuse my ignorance for I'm new at this and have enjoyed this thread.
But what do you mean when you say "hubs" ?

Thanks. Also, did you spray paint or brush paint ?

I think he means rims.

I like the red calipers with black body look, imo. It breaks up the pure black and makes people move their eyes towards the rims. You just don't buy 2k rims that you picked out and now want to have it "fade" in the background.

I meant hubs.

Before too much rust showed through thus taking the focus away from the wheels. With the calipers and hubs painted the wheels now stand out vs. playing 2nd fiddle to the rusted hubs.
