I'll bet that wheel/tire combo is heavier than the set on my Hummer. What compelled you to do that?

What was the point of this thread? Did you want to be told it is ugly? You couldn't have possibly thought it looked good....right? I understand you want your 8 to stand out, but not all attention is positive attention.

I you personally don't think it looks bad. Regardless of what you people think. The point of the thread is that when I asked if the wheel size would work in front I was asked what kind of wheels I was going with. When I answered I was ridiculed. So, I figured I would post a couple pics. Let you insecure guys build yourselves up by tearing someone else down...Now go ahead and build up some self confidence for the day. tell me how they're heavy, its a sports car, light weight this, unsprung weight that. It doesn't matter, I put about 500 miles a year on this car and i like big wheels. check out my daily...

That's craptastic. The wheels match the exhaust tips very well No one is trying to build themselves up, if you ask for an opinion you will get it. If I thought it looked good I would tell you. It just doesn't.

Let's keep the comments about the car and not the owner, Jbunchofnumbers.

simplytodd, they are mostly having a little fun at your expense.

Sorry, I have to point out that this thread totally seems like fishing for an excuse to be all, "Yo check my Lex, and my Q too" trying to backhandedly make himself look rich. Which I don't think I need to tell you is weak as hell.

As for the wheels, I don't think they look bad in general (though I dislike chrome), I think they look bad on this car. Not a good fit for the 8.

All your wheels look too similar, change it up.

Oh and those wheels are too heavy for a sports car, you could save yourself some unsprung weight by going with a lightweight wheel.

Happy Now.

trust me, it is better that way. I would be disgusted knowing an rx8 that looked like that drove around my town.
