Largest 15" wheel and tire size for street/strip FC?
Greetings,
New to RX8 club, and have migrated in from the now defunct V8 forum sector; hope I'm welcome. Wrapping up work on a FC V8 conversion and could use advice on wheel/tire selection. Have not modified the chassis/suspension and would like to know the widest wheel/tire combination I can stuff into the rear. Will spend a little time at the strip and want to run DOT, so could also use a recommendation for a great drag radial. Build is a '88 GTU, gen I Chevy roller cam motor making 400+, transmission is 2004R. Thank you very much.
