Thumbs up Kyokugen Lug Nuts installed...

Well I was bored so decided to address a few details before the next big upgrade so I replaced the big heavy cheap lugs on the RX8 with some nice lightweight cold forged chromoly Kyokugen lugs...

These are closed end, they are caped with a nice polished aluminum cap to keep the water out and give a nice finished look while keeping the weight down to a minimum...

Some PICS...

Nice...You didn't get Lugs with the Hiro's?? I bet the black trust lugs would go good with those wheels.

Which will fit our car?

M12 x 1.5

M12 x 1.25

Or does it depend on the wheel you have....

Cool Reply for Davefzr......

If you look at his package, (not that there's anything WRONG with that...) you can see he bought a 12mm x 1.5 set.....

Yes the lugs for the RX8 are 12 x 1.5, it is the only size that will fit...

The package says "Heptagon nut" -- is that a typo or are they really 7-sided lug nuts? I can't quite tell from the pics. If so, maybe I'd be comfortable doing away with the security-key. Is it likely a wheel thief would be carrying around a 7 -sided lug wrench?
