Koni + ground control question
I'm looking to go with Koni + ground control coilover setup with H&R linear rate springs. but unfortunately ground control do not make sleeves for our cars & to fit Koni's.
1st question: is there ANY ground control (or any other brand) coilover sleeve that'll fit into Koni tubes & employ linear rate springs for both front & rear for our cars?
2nd question: any suggestions on the spring rate & brand for linear rate springs for mostly street driving & biannual track use? I'll have 500whp+ and have installed Racing Beat sways in both front & rear.
thanks all

1) I wish GC made FULL coilover kits for the RX8 that would be sweet Unfortunately I don't know of any 'sleeves' for the car
2) GC uses Eibach, I'd copy one of the current coilover setups, and work from there, the popular one seems to be 8kg f and 5kg r
3) Those rims should clear the Stoptech BBKs, but I don't know if they will rub or not (it depends on your camber I believe) as far as tire size, I know people have done 275 wide, not sure about 285s.
Hope that helps, too bad I couldn't answer the more important question #1 =/

thanks daemos. unfortunately though, it turns out SSR GT3 rims bend and crack all the time according to what I read on the bmw forums...
I did some more research about the coilover sleeves, and it turns out Koni makes coilover sleeve kit for their Sport dampers. Will these work for rx8? I don't know the suspension geometry too well... in my simple mind, if Koni dampers will fit our cars and if these sleeves will fit the Koni's, then these sleeves should work for our cars. can someone chime in?
Koni coilover sleeve part number is 30.0000.1 $55 each retail
Koni shock part number: 8241-1226 Sport Front
8240-1227 Sport Rear
any good person to order these for cheap?
thanks in advance!

In theory it should work...as for the RX8 both the front and rear are coilover type supensions.
But...the question is where are you going to get the springs from =/
SSRs bend? Arn't they forged?

i was thinking swift springs unless someone has better suggestions
i was just told that ssr gt3 is part cast and part forged... not very good for the premium price.
