Installing lowering springs?
Correct me if I am wrong but all rx8s come with coilovers. What is all included in installing lowering springs and how long would it take? Thanks.

Well, a "coilover" is technically an integrated shock and spring. The RX-8 comes with shocks and springs, so technically they're coilovers. Typically when someone talks about coilovers though, they are talking about an aftermarket piece that is usually fully adjustable (ride height, bound, rebound).
If you want to change out the stock springs, you will need to pull the shock/spring (coilover) assembly and take it apart and replace the spring, then put it all back together. I haven't done this, but I've got a set of Teins that I'll be installing soon and I'm affraid it will take me quite a while... full day job. If you are asking the above question it will probably take you a while too. I'm sure a shop could do it in an hour or two.

Look up a thread titled Koni Install questions or something like that. It has a good writeup for exactly what tools/procedure you need to take everything out/apart and put it back together with correct torque specs. The same procedure applies to just changing the springs or doing springs/shocks at the same time.
I did mine with the help of a local member this past saturday, we took it slow and got done in 5 hours front and rear from stock springs and shocks to mazdaspeed springs and konis.

If you just replace your springs and keep the stock shocks, you have to reassemble them before putting them back in the car, making it a coilover. Same if you replace the shock but keep the stock spring or go with aftermarket shock and spring. In aftermarket lingo though, coilover refers to a shock / spring assembly that comes preassembled (and usually fully adjustable).
A coilover is an automobile suspension device, short for "coil (spring) over strut". It consists of a shock absorber (British: damper) with a coil spring (British: helical spring) encircling it. The shock absorber and spring are preassembled as a unit prior to installation, and are replaced as a unit when the shock absorber has leaked. This provides for optimal damping without torsional loads. Some coilovers are adjustable for ride height and hardness as well using a simple threaded spring perch similar to a nut.
The coilover is a basic component of the MacPherson strut suspension system, which is distinguished from other arrangements by employing a particular design of anti-roll bar as a longitudinal constraint. This was the first widespread use of the coilover in automobile suspensions. But there are other designs; the word coilover should not be considered a synonym for the MacPherson strut arrangement.
Coilovers should not be confused with struts or independently mounted shock absorbers.
