Indecision for 19"

So after my treads (stock potenza RE040) got to 2/32 I decided it would probably be a good idea to start shopping for some new tires and rims. The OEM rims are going to be a set of dedicated snow tire rims. Anyway, I picked out a set of rims (Avarus AV5s. pics below) but i'm having trouble with the tires, so here I am asking for help. I've been researching for about two weeks now so i understand the UTQG system and somewhat of the performance type descriptors however I'm at a loss when it comes to balancing out tread wear and "stickiness." I like the grip on the Potenza RE040s as I love taking trips onto the tight mountain roads around here but the tread life is crap. So I need help in identifying a tire that will grip as well if not better than the Potenzas but wouldn't have to be replaced every year or 2. The recommended tire size for the rims is 225/40-19 w/ a +45 offset. thanks for the help guys.

OK, so after some searching and reviews and so on, I think i've decided on the Kumho Ecsta SPTs for a 225/35R19 setup. I'd like to get any feedback on the Ecsta SPTs from anyone who has used em or heard about em. Thank you.

Also, would it be better to spring for the Run flat versions of these tires or stick w/ non-runflat given that I don't have the spare tire package?

Just a friendly opinion. I'm not feeling your rims.
