I might just purchace some SSR's / Advice Please

Hey guys, I've been looking at putting some white rims on my car for next summer (I have a VR) and I came across some rims locally. They are SSR GT2 (so nice), the only thing is there is a bend on one of the rims. He has them on his lancer and they don't leak, but I was just wondering if these two piece rims are "fixable" because I would want to get that fixed before it goes on the 8. I got the guy down to 600 plus he would get the tires unmounted (they are toast).
Anyone have any experence with these rims? I've always liked them and want to just go out there and buy them but I'd rather get some opinions from you first.
They are 18x8.5 35+
wheel suggestions would be appreciated, I have JIC FLT A2 Coilovers.
---I have searched for a long time so flame off, this is a honest knowledge based question.
Pic of the rims.

255/40 --- I will need a fender roll right? that won't be a problem though.
I'm gonna take a week to think about it. If they are still there I'm gonna ****** them up. I'll have all winter to get them fixed and get rubber for them.
they are really nice and unique, well around the motor city they are.

You can put a 265/35-18 on those rims and have no clearance issues. No need to roll the fenders.

That looks like a scratched rim, not bent.

Why take off the tires?

The removal of tires is free when you install your set of tires on those rims.

yeah, it's bent a little where the scratch is. the rims would fit better in the 8 than with the tires on them. I am bringing them over the border and they don't like it when you have a tire on the front seat. I'd like to get the scratch/bend repaired then get some shoes in the spring.
