This sucks. I just bought a set of lug nuts this weekend and I've already lost one. I must have not tightened them well enough. I bought a set of MUTEKI Forged Light Weight Compact Size Super Tuner Nut. I am wondering if anyone knows where or knows someone that sells lug nuts by the piece. Otherwise, I am S O L and may have to buy another set of 20.

How much did you torqued it to? The torque specs for the lugs on the 8 is different than a regular car.

yep, places will almost NEVER sell them by the onesies.

You might want to consider searching honda forums or something because some cars only utilize 16 nuts but they come in a set of 20. Some owner might have 4 spares lying around. That's what id try.

Or just suck it up and get another set. THen you have plenty of spares. How much did they cost you?

 

The stud threading on the Hondas are different than ours.

 

that's why i said or something, i dunno off the top of my head what the threads are for each manufacturer but whatever one uses the same as mazdas, he might be able to find some owners who have spares. Hell maybe even miata owners might have some, first gen

You know whats funny? I use to have the EXACT same lugs and I also lost one (passenger side rear.) Maybe its a flaw in the lugs because I torqued them to spec.

If anything else just take this as an opportunity to buy a set of locks. May sound silly but try posting a WTB as well - many people prefer to use 16 lugs + 4 locks and will have some extras lying around.
